Previous threads touch on Filipino cuisine and how it's flavors are somewhat a mystery for some. As for me, I'm still on my quest in finding a good Filipino restaurant that can cook up dishes just as good as my mother's kitchen, if not better.
I recently heards about a Japanese/Filipino restaurant called Hiromi's... and was curious if anyone has dined there. This restaurant offers both Japanese and Filipino cuisine, karaoke and BYOB. Interestingly, they also offer a $40 cooking class every 1st Monday of the month... which includes dinner.
I'm tempted to try it out perhaps after Labor Day, but if you have dined (or sang) there, please do share your experience. Thanks!
