With thousands from Chicago expected to invade Miami in two weeks, ill be there! I am curious about any off the beaten path rec's anyone might have. I am pretty familiar with Miami myself and I will say that some of the better spots are found on 8th St in Lil' Havana and of course there is the original Joe's which I always make it too when in the area. I can also vouch for Le Sandwicherie, which is a wonderful French sandwich spot near the beach. But the one place I HAVE to visit when in Miami is...El Rey de las Fritas (The King Of Frita's) they serve up the best damn burger in the south. Its a Cuban hamburger made with fresh meat, its called a frita, its a flavor combo thats out of this world consisting of a delicious well spiced hamburger patty served between a frsh bun topped with fresh lettuce, onion, shoestring potatoes, and this secret sauce that im dying to know the recipe for. Does anybody have any must eats in the area?
