I'm off to a wedding in The Hague, flying in and out of Brussels. I've previously only spent about hours in Belgium, so at the end of this trip I've allotted all of 24 hours for Brussels!

I'm staying at Le Meridian, which is spitting distance from the Central Train Station. I should arrive at noonish and my flight is at 11 a.m. this next day, so I'll really only have the afternoon/evening to eat! Oh, and I'm going to be solo (and I'm female), so I'm probably more interested in more casual places where I could eat at the bar, or street food. As far as food specifics, anything goes, though I am a huge fan of mussels and beer (which shouldn't be too tough to accommodate *g*).

I'd appreciate any recommendations that people might have!
