I may be heading to California later this year--perhaps twice--and am interested in checking out Guy Fieri's restaurants if I end up being in that part of the state. Fieri (from the Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives) owns or co-owns three restaurants, including Russell Ramsay's Chop House, Johnny Garlic's, and Tex Wasabi's, all in Santa Rosa (I believe there are a couple of other branches of these restaurants in ithe area, too).

Has anyone been to any of these? If so, how were they? Are they worth going to if I'm in that part of California?

I havent been but its tough to even want to go after looking at them online. I love DDI&D and I actually learned of his restaurants from Guy himself when I met him filming at white palace in the fall. He was really cool even though I gave him a hard time about eating beef's at frosted mug the night before, which he said were amazing. After the TJI fridays commercials I lost some respect for him, no I cant hate someone for taking the money but I dont think his places are like the ones visited on the show. They seem like they belong in Orlando or the Dell's.

According to Wikipedia, the restaurants in California are not his, he only co-own's them, so you probably would be getting someone else's concept.
