We'll be headed for Las Vegas in a little over a week, and the wife wants a nice restaurant that serves great French cuisine. I have had the pleasure of working with Michel Richard at Citrus in Los Angeles, before he packed up and went to DC. That was also my wife's favorite place to eat(perhaps because I worked there? lol). So, if anyone is familiar with that type of French cooking, that is what I'm looking for in Las Vegas.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I need to make reservations right away. Those of you who say I should stay away from Las Vegas for that type of food, need to realize I live in Salem, Oregon, and don't get out much! :)

The restaurant at the top of the Eiffel Tower in the Paris hotel has great French food. I've never dined at a Michel Richard restaurant so I can't compare the styles. However, the executive chef at the Eiffel Tower is Jean Joho, one of Chicago's best chefs, with his Everest Room restaurant. The Eiffel Tower will be very pricey, like all the name restaurants in Vegas, however you have an extra bonus of an extraordinary view of the strip while you dine. Make sure to request a window table. This is one restaurant where the maxim "the better the view, the worse the food" doesn't apply.
