Two lifelong Yoopers are telling me that "The Library," is the best restaurant in town. It's not a real library, it's a restaurant named "The Library."

We had a nice lunch at the Ambassdor. Very cool interior, old bar, stained glass, and very cool old murals. This would be an awesome spot to eat and drink while watching the snow come down outside (which my Tech student daughter confirmed).

Had some KBC on tap and a cheese pizza and a pesto pizza (pesto, white colby, tomatoes, and feta), both were good, especially good for the UP.

Speaking of KBC, don't miss stopping at the Keweenaw Brewing Company taproom for $2.50 pints. My favorites were:
Olde Ore Scottish Ale (also my favorite from the last couple of trips)
    November Gale Pale Ale
    Red Jacket Amber Ale
    Pick Axe Blond Ale
    Widow Maker Black Ale
