I can't find anything about this area on the site. It is west of Boulder Junction and a little too far for a reasonable dinner driving distance (65 miles). (Actually I would drive but I have my parents and they wouldn't be game) I will be there two nights and looking for any nearby recommendations (within 30 miles give or take)

You can get a tasty breakfast at Besse's in Tomahawk.
I believe they focus on fish and steak at dinner.

Bootleggers Supper Club in Tomahawk was pretty good. I had a great NY Strip. Classic Wisconsin Supperclub on Lake Nokomis.

We went to the "Beach Bar" and "Phillips Cafe" in Phillips. Can't really vouch for either of them. Service was lacking at the Beach Bar and the Phillips Cafe was out of the box Gravy, lumpy mashed potatoes, and school-lunch salisbury steak. My parents liked the broasted chicken though.

We wanted to go to this place, Chico's North of the Border in Springstead. They proclaimed to have authentic Sonoran Mexican food, but we didn't time it right. Setting was very nice on a lake. Here is a yelp review but the website is not operational. We did drive to the place and it is still there and very nice looking so I know it is still up and running. Wonder if anyone has checked it out?
