    Does anyone have any experience with this place? Friends are trying to convince me it's worth the 70 mile trip just to eat here.

    Yes. Tried it tonight. No. Not worth any drive. To be fair (though where's the fun in that) the basil vinigrette was as good as a salad dressing ever gets and the ravioli were homemade and pretty good. But other than that...................

    Their website is clearly out of date. They now offer a "pub menu." Instead of colcannon with my whitefish (which I would have adored and would have been completely seasonal) they were serving asparagus and an oily lump of pasta.

    Oh well. It was better than the Machine Shop, which was my last Rockford stop. Or the Olive Garden, which is the last place a local took me to.
