Central (dirty) Jersey

Hi All,

Currently, I am residing at my in-laws for the high-holidays. Due to circumstances revolving around my work travel schedule, I will be spending a lot of time with my father in law. We get along just fine; I don't believe nor he have every raised our voices to one another for the five years since he has welcomed me as a part of his extended family.

They live about 10 minutes away from Rutgers University. I would like to treat him to some sort of "Man's Dinner;" in the area. He's a simple but kind and extremely generous man who came to this country as a small boy. He loves the Yankees, the Jets, golf and vodka. That's all there really is to him, and he's cool with that.

I think we'd both prefer to stay in the Middlesex Co. area as much as possible; jaunts out to Brooklyn or Manhattan would best be for another occasion. Any suggestions would be much appreciated and give me a chance to cash in on brownie points.
