Mannie & Bo's - Calzones: Golden, CO [pic]

The wife and I went to Mannie & Bo's tonight. We each had a calzone:


I had pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives and cream sheese:


The cream cheese was suggested by bmwr65ls
in the "Starback Style Pizza" post here: http://lthforum.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=9910

Funny, the crust here looks flaky... but they're actually really warm and soft. They're awesome! Thanks for the tip, bmwr65ls.

Cathy2, the cream cheese is available upon request. However since bmwr65ls recommendation I've read perhaps a dozen local write-ups on the calzone and it seems to be a fairly popular choice. I'm wondering if this is just a local creation or if it was brought here from somewhere else... philly perhaps...?

Excerpt from Mannie & Bo's menu:
"(All pizza and calzones start with 3-cheese blend of Mozzarella, Provolone and Cheddar.)"

Additional Ingredients can Include:
"Homemade Italian Sausage, Homemade Italian Meatball, Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Shrimp, Anchovies, Mushrooms, Green Olives, Black Olives, Green Peppers, Jalapenos, Onions, Celery, Tomatoes, Pineapple, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cream Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, and Green Chile Strips."

All of their Sauces, Doughs, Sausages, and Meatballs are Homemade. Great quality. Very fresh ingredients...
