So was just in South Bend on a Sunday morning and felt like some breakfast and a bloody mary. In other words, brunch. I ended up at Tippecanoe Place. While the setting is very cool, I was quite underwhelmed by the food and drink selection. They serve a brunch buffet which is a bit too heavy on the -unch (beef stroganoff, jambalaya, manicotti, roast beef, a variety of salads) and light on the br- (omelet and waffle bar and some sausage links). The bloodies were very average as well. I know the Fiddler's Hearth is another brunch option, but I was there the evening before and wanted to try something different.

I may find myself in South Bend again someday, so I'd like to know if there are any other places in the area that serve a proper brunch.

I live in South Bend and am not aware of any decent brunches around here.

I agree with your assessment of Tippecanoe Place, I've eaten there several times over the years, and while the setting is interesting, the food is definitely underwhelming.
