According to the Waffle House website, the chain has served over 2,501,866,574 eggs since its opening in 1955. According to a 2005 article in USA Today, the restaurant buys 2 percent of all eggs produced in the United States annually.

Yes on both counts. Real butter and real maple syrup are served at Cracker Barrel. Fyi, Bob Evans serves only fake maple syrup and fake butter (at least that was the case at my last - and final - visit there). It's been so long since I've been to a Waffle House, I had no idea this was also the case there. That's certainly a bummer. Rage against fake food!![]()

Yes on both counts. Real butter and real maple syrup are served at Cracker Barrel. Fyi, Bob Evans serves only fake maple syrup and fake butter (at least that was the case at my last - and final - visit there). It's been so long since I've been to a Waffle House, I had no idea this was also the case there. That's certainly a bummer. Rage against fake food!![]()
