Best Pizza Place in the Country

Being from Boston, I am a big fan of pizza, as the corridor from Boston to New York (including New Haven, one of the best places for pizza) is full of outstanding pizza places.

Though I travel a lot, I don't know much about great pizza places outside of the Northeast. What are people's favorites in, say, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago, or any other place in the United States?
