Halfway between New Smyrna and Daytona is Port Orange,FL. Headed here on purpose to eat lunch at Brigadoon Fish Camp.

Made sure they had the crabs on hand via their facebook page. Knew this pace was going to be good when I got out of the car.

Rows of crab tanks:

Cracked crabs in my bare feet looking at the river:

one shay pic:

orders the blue crabs by the pound - old bay seasoning, and the snow crab with the old bay as well(wanted to get some live shrimps they had, but shay voted snow crabs - all good shes learned from the best.. )

took care of business:

I thought Brigadoon was great and one of the highlight of the trip. Young friendly owners serving some top notch steamed foods. Great place to enjoy a few cold beers on a sunny afternoon. One of those spots that makes the hours of food searching & driving I do worth it

http://www.shoresfesthaus.com/Oyster Pub, really enjoyed some chargrilled oysters here, easily as good as I remember Dragos in NOLA being. Other items were just ok, the 2 for 1 Jim Beams were really nice.
