Look for food in Thailand, Vietnam & Japan

Anyone know any good places in Bangkok or Phuket? Heading there at the end of Feb. for the first time and would love recomendations. Saigon or Tokyo too, for that matter.

In Tokyo, Inakaya was a wonderful experience. The style is robatayaki. When you walk in there's a u shaped counter. Inside are 2 cooks behind a couple grills surrounded by all kinds of different foods. You choose what you want, the cook grills it, then passes it to you on long paddles. You can't miss this place.

Also, be sure to have real Kobe beef at a Japanese steakhouse(teppanyaki). It blows away the Wagyu beef producers are pawning off here as Kobe style at outrageous prices.

In Saigon, we had a very good meal at Lemongrass.
