    There usta be several good Burmese Restaurants in Manhattan (a great cusisine>sort of a hybrid between Thai and Indian).
    Mandalay Palace on 380 Broome,near Mott and Mulberry, Mingala Burmese Restaurant on 21-23 E. 7th Street..
    but I havent been to NYC in a while.

    Has anyone a reccomendation?

    Of the two you mentioned, I have been to Mingala on E 7th street several times. I like it a lot and it's a good value for the dollar. However, to be honest, it's the only Burmese restaurant I've been to so my reference point may be very different from yours.
