Asian Cuisine in Vegas?

Headed to Vegas next week and I was curious if anybody had a rec. for some good Asian food (Chinese a plus) located in one of the casinos on the strip? I have browsed most of them but I am curious if there is one not to be missed. Thanks to all.

they've got this upscale asian place in the bellagio that's supposed to be really good... wear pants though as they wouldn't seat my buds at a table bcuz they were wearing shorts... otherwise the spice market buffet at alladin's is a decent buffet and so is bally's sterling brunch... not what you asked for but just thought i'd mention them

How about Nobu in the Hard Rock?

The Noodle Shop in the Mandalay Bay is a great place to go for a quick bowl of soup noodles. Other than that, I'd recommend skipping any of the hotel places and heading to Chow's on Sahara Blvd. for dim sum at lunchtime or for their huge menu at dinner.

I really enjoyed Noodle Asia inside the casino at the Venetian, right next to the sports book. You can view the menu from the link above. As you can tell, the offerings are largely Chinese. Expect a wait as it always seemed crowded.

Spring Mountain Rd. in Las Vegas is the center of Chinatown in Las Vegas and has a wide variety of Chinese and other Asian cuisines at all price levels. You will find excellent food at a fraction of the Strip prices.

Do you have specific places. Last time I was there, I drove around here briefly. The number of places impressed me. There may be more places there than in Chicago. I'm intent on exploring, so any starting places would be appreciated.

I've done a bit of exploring of the Spring Mountain Road Chinatown places. There are some decent places there, like a branch of the renouned LA chain, Sam Woo BBQ. As good as those places might be, my recommendation above of Chow's on Sahara trumps any place I have tried in the Spring Mountain gulag.

We had some great meals over the years at Cathay House which is up the street from the actual Mall area. We used to have our CompuServe group dinners there and were satisfied by the wide variety of dishes there.

Pho Vietnam which is in the Chinatown mall area on an upper floor served a good variety of pho dishes.
