The good news is that I spent Rosh Hashanah week this year in Seoul, Pusan and Changwon (sort of the equivalent of Peoria, when Peorians still manufactured lots of stuff).
The bad news is that Typhoon Nari chased me around a good bit, causing me to flee back to Seoul by train rather than air. Fleeing it was--as the food in Changwon didn't hold up to what I could get in Seoul, such as this:
Ok, now I've got your attention. Actually I was served the head of one of these rays as part of my lunch at Seoul's Noryangjin Fish Market, boiled I think. I poked around the cheeks. They were fatty, and pretty good.
