South Walton Beach, Panhandle, Florida

My husband and I are just back from two weeks on the beach in Destin. I don't know how many of you make the escape from the frozen midwest to this part of the country - we love it because January-February is their "off" season. Due to cooler temps than Southern Florida (50s-60s), the beaches, roads and restaurants are not at all crowded, and prices are lower.
