Puerto Penasco, Mexico Part II. The Road to Agua Chile

Heading south from Puerto Penasco theres not much to see. Nothing but sand and cactus with the Sea of Cortez providing a nice blue backdrop.



Suddenly on the horizon, mirage-like a building apperars

No mirage..it's an oyster shack built with flotsom and whale bones!

Imagine a seafood shack...constructed from seafood!!


No one was home and the kitchen appeared to be closed.

Probably a good thing.
A bit further down the road reality returns

La Curva specializes in Agua Chile, a wonderful seafood cocktail served up in a molcahete.
