    Good find. Haven't been yet,
but will probably be up in that
    area in the near future.

    Exploring Kingsbury and the Dunes,
paired with some Stop 50 and Moser's,
would make for a fine weekend.

I've eaten at Moser's...once. Years ago, when I was young and more impressionable. I got all excited when I stumbled across the menu online. I remember it well, it was also cold autumn weather, Oktoberfest, beer, German food, what's not to like I say (said)? I had rouladen or something similar, and all I remember is that it tasted like it had been in the freezer for a year and defrosted in the microwave. The whole meal was really blah. This place is really out in the middle of nowhere, you're a good 30-45 minutes off of 94. I wouldn't suggest making a detour to eat there, you'll probably be kicking yourself afterwards.

If you want to drive into the hinterlands in that area and get a good meal, may I suggest

    Heston Supper Club

Really spectacular drive there no matter which direction you approach it from, no matter what time of year. Make sure you get there before sunset so you can appreciate the scenery. Food's pretty decent too, just choice steaks and chops and so on but they do them well.

I went there a few years ago while driving through town.I cannot even remember what I had but it was dry and tasteless. Some pork dish I think.I really wanted to like it but I was rather disappointed. That all being said I am not against trying them again but I ask myself why?I supposed its because its a family run place serving a cuisine I like and what the heck maybe it was just a bad night. Also the prices aren't bad to preclude a second try.I agree the Heston Bar is a good choice in the area.
