Post #1 - February 20th, 2011, 6:39 pmThe annual (I think) Sticky Rice Festival will take place in Isan, Thailand (Northeast Thailand) in June 2011. I would love to visit some year.
If you are interested, I traveled last year with a tour group, Globetrotting Gourmet to Yunnan, China, and found it an extremely enjoyable tour. This tour is in conjunction with a cooking class. If interested consult Globetrotting Gourmet tour to Isan. I have no financial interest in the company, but judging from my trip they do a good job. Perhaps there are other groups going or one can find personal transportation as well.Toast, as every breakfaster knows, isn't really about the quality of the bread or how it's sliced or even the toaster.
