FINALLY found pizza in Florida worth a DAMN!!!!!!!!! Almost like Barnaby's thin crust with corn meal on the bottom and cut in squares. Been open since 1957....how could I have missed this ALL these years I have lived down here????? The place isn't much to look at but as soon as you walk in the smell of a superb pizza will hit you. Their Italian sausage is a little spicier then I am used to almost like chorizo but it hits the spot. Greek owner who also has a grocery store next door selling Greek items (which I haven't checked out YET). Will have to take all my Chicago friends living in SoFla for some pizza!!!!!!!

Funny that this thread just reappeared because I meant to post on it. Sent my sister, who lives in Plantation, the info on this place a while back and she just emailed me that they went and loved it (and thought is was very reminiscent of Barnaby's which she and her family love after several visits over the years when visiting). So thanks to the OP for ensuring that I can find some decent pizza next time I'm in South Florida!

Thanks seminolephil (love the name by the way!)--I'll pass those along. The family lives in Plantation so those are a bit far for an everyday dinner out, but they travel all over for my niece's soccer tournaments and I'm sure they make their way north often enough to appreciate the recs.
