Hi All:
I want to echo the recommendation of Yakitori Totto. AWESOME! We ate there about 5 days ago and it was one of our best meals in NYC.
It's a tie with Gottino, an Italian Wine Bar that serves small plates. We had our last dinner at Gottino. The bartenders are friendly, non-pretentious, and fun, and they won't bs you about the wine or food. That said, everything we had was delicious and we wanted to keep ordering more. Boar stew with polenta and the chocolate-dipped figs for dessert were my favorites. This was something new for us (only Italian wines), and we *loved* it. It's a must-do for all of our upcoming trips.
