Sun King Brewery - Indianapolis IN

On our recent roadtrip from Chicago down to Lexington, we stopped at Sun King Brewery to strech our legs & enjoy the 6 samples (3 house & 3 specialty) beers that Sun King was offering during this tasting.

The Scottish Wee Mac Ale was our car's favorite.

Growler refills are only $5 on Fridays, quite the deal, so one in our group had brought along a few growlers as 'one never knows what beers are around', so for $15 we had that evening's drinks at our hotel.

They won 8 medals at GABF in 2011 (2 more than any other brewery), which is unheard of for a 2nd year brewery. I've been really impressed with almost everything I've had from them. I really enjoy their Osiris pale ale. Unfortunately, I don't think they have any interest in coming into Chicago, or leaving the state at all for the immediate future.
