A friend and I made the 90 minute trip to Cincinnati last Friday to see Interpol play at Bogart's, close to U of C campus. After spending much of my planning period researching nearby restaurants I settled on Senate, on Vine Street, same as Bogart's, but in the Over the Rhine neighborhood. There is an evident amount of new, attractive looking restaurants in the area, and Senate as it turned out was a terrific choice. We sat at the bar and ordered four items from the appetizer menu. All were outstanding. Service was phenomenal, but the food really stood out. A fine place that I will definitely hit next time and every time in the Queen City.
