    Great list.

Let me add: any pie at the Norsk Nook in Osseo - but particularly the Sour Cream Raisin - you need to head up to NW Wisconsin.

Tony's pizza at Lisa's Pizza in Janesville. (Tony is Sicilian to the bone, Lisa is his wife.) His thin crust browns in bubbles on the bottom. Secret pesto underlayment sauce... Oh yum.

Ollie's in DeKalb has wonderful custard. My favorite is the blackcherry. Only problem is that Ollie's is only open late April to October. Don't know the address but it's on Rte. 23 about half way between DeKalb and Sycamore.

The best berry ice cream/custard I've ever had *in my life* was at LaBeau's Drive Inn, Garden City UT, right where the Logan Hwy (US 89) runs into Bear Lake. The berry bushes are out behind the bldg, and the kids gather the berries every morning to make the custard.

Other than that, Kopp's ain't no slouch, neither. :)

TonyC, how do you EAT that thing?

I mean, Dagwood could get *his* jaw open wide enough, but then, he's only in the comix. YOU (we assume!) exist in Real Life, and there's nary a Real Life jaw to open so wide as to encompass the enpictured Mazo's burger+++ .

I've had raspberry custard at Greg's Frozen Custard in Mundelein once and it was awesome. The best flavor I have had there. Unfortunately, it is a special flavor. Never had Kopps raspberry, so I can't compare.

A while back, Cathy posted a link to a site which has Greg's daily specials listed for the month.
