I realize that Lake Geneva is in Wisconsin; however, I know many Chicagoland foodies head north as well (technically its just a bit north of Chicagoland, since Chicagoland is gigantic). I'm looking for fine dining locations in Lake Geneva for a group of 10 (price does not matter). Any suggestions?

Our resourceful Cathy2 told the last person who asked about LG to look here

Aside from those listed, try this site

I've eaten at a couple of those that hadn't been listed before because I'd forgotten:
    Red Geranium: OK, pricey.
Chicago Pizza Company: nice pan pizza, not really noteworthy, though

A couple of them are at the Grand Geneva Resort. It won't have the cache it did when it was the Playboy Club, sadly.
What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?

I haven't been to Lake Geneva in about 3 years however I tend to think restaurants don't change much there. Didn't think the food was noteworthy in Grand Geneva. The best luck I've had was at Kirsch's at the French Country Inn. Beautiful restaurant right on the lake. I particulary liked the escargot, duck & portabello napolean, and the charred duck breast and confit of leg. Looks like they've added some new items. I've usually read that the Grandview Restaurant in the Geneva Inn is the premier restaurant. Charming Inn and restaurant with terrific view but I've heard the food is very expensive and not that good. You make the call!

I like the atmosphere here. It's only a short drive from Lake Geneva.

Growing up, one of our favorites was Charlie O's. It is not in Lake Geneva, but Williams Bay, I think. As an adult, I've been there a couple times. It's a place that is stuck back in time with the decor and ambience, but the food has always been good, ample and reasonably priced. The decor doesn't really matter to my stomach. I enjoy the French onion soup and ribs. They sometimes offer duck, which my family always looks forward to.
