Post #1 - June 2nd, 2006, 4:51 pmI'll be in NY from Tue-Fri of next week, just in case any LTH-ers will be there. I'm doing some "research" since me and a former NYer started doing old school pastrami at a farmers market here in PDX and are considering starting a deli in the coming year (considering we keep selling out before lunch time). So I'm mostly going to be hitting delis and various Kosher/Jewish-oriented places, getting my fill of pickles, bagels, bialys, knishes, whitefish, lox, pastrami, corned beef, roast beef, etc. Though I suspect I'll eat my weight in pizza, too.
Anyway, if anyone is going to be around and wants to hook up for a meal or a self-guided tasting tour, contact me.
