Where to buy cascarones?

Hello!

Anyone know where I can buy cascarones--colored and hollowed out eggs filled with confetti? I think they have a Mardi Gras or Easter tie in?

We bought several dozen in San Antonio, TX, but now we are out and want to buy some in the Chicago area.

They aren't food but I figure they might be in some local Hispanic groceries, candy shops, etc.

Im not sure where to get them, however perhaps contacting Columbia College would be a good place to start. Seems like they will be using cascarones sometime in May and they may have some information for you:
