I am trying to locate glasses that are used to serve tea- I'm referencing the kind used in most Middle Eastern countries.

Any suggestions on where I could purchase some.

    Thanks.

I'm sure you could find them at many of the local Middle Eastern grocery stores, but if you search Moroccan tea glasses on Yahoo, you'll get a lot of choices:

I use glass tea cups from Todd & Holland: http://www.todd-holland.com/

Mine are fairly simple, though I suspect you may be looking for the glasses that fit into filagreed metal holders.

Even if T&H doesn't carry exactly what you're looking for, I suspect Bill Todd would have a very good idea where you might find some.

    Jyoti,

A pleasant walk down Kedzie from 4900 N to about 4400 or slightly beyond should yield not only Middle Eastern style tea glasses, but a heck of a lunch as well.

    Enjoy,

I got a great set of really pretty ones, with gold etched designs on the rims and matching plates, at the Pita Inn market on Dempster about a year ago. They came in a package of six and were on sale for the bargain price of $10, I think. I don't know if they are that cheap but I believe they still carry them there.
