As an interesting side, I wandered over into the fray to take a few bits home. I noticed that it was mostly restauranteurs doing the shopping. They were taking down large strips of fresh tuna (1.5-2 lbs.) and running for the exits, and strangely, it was not the expensive stuff (chutoro, toro) you might expect. I bought some of the expensive stuff (hey, you only go around once, eh?) and was unpleasantly... repulsed. Can't win them all.
