I received The Silver Spoon cookbook for Christmas 2005. It's been collecting dust ever since b/c I'm so overwhelmed by it and don't even know where to start. For those of you that have this cookbook, can you please help me crack open this book w/some of your favorites? Thanks!

There's actually a blog that is all about preparing the recipes in the Silver Spoon. There's even an ease of preparation grading scale which might be helpful if you're just starting out. I can't really point to any specific recipes as I've only browsed through it at Borders, but let us know how it works out for you.

After I posted, I googled blogs, and found this site. Is this the one that you are referencing? Looks pretty informative.

Yup that's the one. Nice pictures, too. It definitely helps to know what the end product is supposed to look like.

http://www.101cookbooks.com/ might also be a good resource, but I don't really know if she posts recipes from Silver Spoon.
