I usually go into the city (Riviera on Harlem) for Italian sausage but sometimes, it's just too far. I was occasionally getting it at Angelo's in Downers Grove but since they've changed owners, I'm not so happy with their quality. Anybody have another place that's decent in this area? I guess I could try Caputo's. Anyone had theirs?

The Butera on Chicago makes their own Italian sausage. You might want to give it a try. Coarse grind, LOTS of fennel.

Here is the place we get our sausage and find it very good. It's not too far from Napervile, maybe takes 30 min or so to get to. The address is on the web site. Good luck and hope you like it!
