Cannoli With Pecorino

Last week the bakery at the Joe Caputos and Sons grocery store was offering cannoli with pecorino. I, of course, had to try them. I have never had cannoli with pecorino before

The cannoli were fine, with a strong pecorino note in the filling. While I thought it was interesting, both I and mr eggplant decided that we prefer the standard cannoli.

Also got the raspberry/white chocolate scones, which were pretty darn good. I usually only eat dark chocolate, but there is something about the raspberry/white chocolate combination. It just works. Raspberry/dark chocolate combination doesn't taste nearly as good to me.
