...or, what can I do with my baking mishap?

I was making a large batch of my "everything" cookies to take for Thanksgiving, but unfortunately in my enthusiasm they became "too much of everything" cookies and so I now have a plateful of cookie fragments. They are very tasty, but the presentation is not what I'd hoped for. Any suggestions on what I can do with these unexpectedly deconstructed cookies?

Crumb Piecrust? Base for "bread" pudding? Topping for a streusel pie or cake? Filling for a trifle?

    Freebase 'em when nobody's looking?

You could put them in ice cream:
    - make your own Everything Cookie Ice Cream
    - have a sundae-making session where your cookies are one of the toppings
    - make an ice cream cake and use your cookies as one of the cake layers

You could also dip the fragments in chocolate. No one will care if they are different sizes or shapes then.

This is a cookie that I saw on Michael Chirello that I adapted. I call it end of cookie jar cookie.

    Crush leftover cookies
    1/2 C butter softened
    3-4 T vanilla
    1/3 C Sugar
    1/3 C cocoa powder
    1/3 C chopped nuts

Cream the butter and sugar add the vanilla, cocoa powder, nuts and crushed cookies. Roll in wax paper or parchment paper and chill thoroughly. Slice into rounds when well chilled. You can also place them in the freezer and slice as needed.

    They taste very fudgy.
