Group Cooking Excursions

Does anyone have any suggestions for where to go on a big social cooking outing for about 40 or so graduate students? Has anyone been to one and perhaps has some reviews?

I'm looking at Chopping Block, though they may be out of our price range. But, then again, if it's a truly spectacular time/meal, maybe there's room in the coffers.

Help. Please.
