Does anyone know where I can find Dutch chocolate flakes that melts when put on warm bread? Haven't tried it myself. Looking for this for a friend.

I've seen Dutch chocolate sprinkles at the Thai Grocery (intersection of Broadway and Argyle). I believe the owner said Indonesian customers buy them, which probably stems from the Dutch occupation of that country.

Thanks for the recs. I did find the Dutch chocolate flakes on the web but wanted to find them locally. I'll give the Thai Grocery a try. Are there any Dutch stores in Chicagoland? Was there ever an area of Chicago with a concentratration of Dutch?

Well, there's Meijer. :) I don't think they have much in the way of Dutch goods, though.

Not as much as elsewhere, but some; that's why there's a suburb called South Holland.
