we used to have a Springbrook in Bloomingdale. I loved it..great meat and produce..didnt have that nasty rotton fruit smell that a lot of these spaces have..very clean
unfortunately it moved and Caputo's moved in
There is another Springbrook on Geneva road in Carol Stream

I've been numerous times and like it a lot. Better than Jewel and Dominick's which isn't saying much, but it's a solid store in the areas of produce, meat, and ethnic items. The deli is decent but not outstanding. For meats they have all the usual suspects along with some some nice variety cuts like whole brisket, oxtails, short ribs, etc. One of my favorite things about the place is the 3.99 rotisserie chicken. Not a huge bird, but well seasoned and hard to beat the price. There are some interesting choices in the frozen section as well like a variety of pelmeni dumplings made somewhere in upstate NY. The ethnic dry goods aisles also have unexpected surprises. I typically go to Butera in St Charles but when I have the extra time, prefer Springbrook.

Also want to mention if you are in the area you should check out the new Blue Goose market in St. Charles. Very nice. Killer high end cheese selection and overall decent selection of pate's, salami's etc.
