Last week, in a small liquor store in Norridge, B and I spotted some "Milka Fire" chocolate bars:

Naturally, at the urge of "limited edition," we had to buy all of them. They cost approx $1.58 a piece.
At first taste, I was surprised at how rich the chocolate tasted, not as waxy as I expected, heavy on the milk side of milk chocolate. No heat was discernible at first, but it creeped in, and ended with a minor bang that was somewhat disappointing. Still, me and the B, quite liked this bar, especially at the price point, and so did the rest of the family. I explained to her that chocolate and chili was a classic combination going back to the ruthless and blood thirsty Aztecs, and added a couple more Aztec facts. Any chance for a history lesson. She ate it all up.
I'd previously ignored Milka products, but I will keep my eye out in the future. I'd certainly like to find some more of the "Fires." I hope you find some too.
