Please pardon the ignorant question, but is there a difference (in ingredients or taste) between Mexican Coke and kosher Coke? I ask because I am still seeing just a few bottles of kosher Coke on shelves around here.
The Coca Cola company is the sole manufacturer for Coke syrup and sells it to all its franchisees, so the basic recipe should be consistent worldwide. The bottlers then add sweetener. So, in theory, it's about the same. But there's just something about a frosty Coke in a glass bottle. Reminds me of the summers of my youth and the stores that had the Coke bins with the little maze that you had to route the bottles through after you put your money in.
(And yes, my position on any sweetened beverage is that it's effectively liquid candy with no redeeming value, but there's still something about icy cold Coke on a hot summer's day).
