    Hello,
Has anyone ever heard of an Italian bread called Ciopi? A friend said they used to buy it years ago but nobody seems to sell it anymore. I believe it's a Southern Italian type of bread.

    Thanks,

Interesting. No, I hadn't. So I googled the word, and the first thing that came up was your identical post on Foodbanter :)

Are you sure you have that spelling right?

I found this website which lists Italian breads by region: http://www.deliciousitaly.com/visualizz ... 42&area=it

I didn't find one with the same spelling, but it is interesting to see all the types of breads!

Chowhound article is exactly the bread I'm looking for. If I could find a recipe that would be great.

    Thanks,
