    Is this a new concept? Hell, I live in Evanston, a mess of Dominick's and Jewels and Whole Foods, and I still manage to eat from smaller stores easily. Tomorrow I'm getting my meat shipment from Wallace Farms then grabbing my weekly CSA share. Under $80 and it'll feed two for about two weeks.

    Though I'd love for there to be an alternative to the major chains in Evanston...I'm left schlepping all over the city on Saturday mornings.

    Jes, who wrote this blog (and occasionally posted on LTH), shut it down in 2005. I don't believe she lives in Chicago anymore.
