For only the second time in several decades, most of this summer's king salmon from the Yukon River will be enjoyed in upscale U.S. eateries.
Until recently, nearly all Yukon kings have gone to Japan, where they are regarded as a gourmet delicacy. That changed last year when 700 fishermen from six villages teamed with savvy seafood marketers to deliver their catch to new U.S. customers."
