PS I live in Logan Square and have no car. So it'd have to be somewhat accessible by public transport.

    Many Thanks~!!

Hi- I think I have seen it at the Evanston farmer's market, and they would probably have it at the Logan Square market on Sunday too. I have never been to that one, but it sounds like it is fairly large. You could probably find it in an ethnic market too, but I am not familiar with the markets in Logan Square. Hope this helps, Nancy

I've bought it a couple times in the past from the River North Whole Foods (33 W. Huron).

Most Asian markets carry it and I've even seen it regularly at the Jewel. It can go under more names than just those two, it is sometimes called choy sum in Asian stores (though from what I gather, that can be a nonspecific name referring to stemmy-type greens.) I bet the Caputo's at Fullerton and Harlem would have it, but that might be out of your range.

I'd call your regular grocery stores and see if they have it with specialty produce.

Whole Foods, Tony's Finer Foods locations have had it all summer. I frizzle in garlic and oil, then add stock or lemon juice (with a little sugar or basalmic) to deglaze and steam until tender.

A bit out of your range, but I've bought rapini at Fresh Farms, Niles. They were long on interesting produce this morning, in addition to rapini and their typical expansive selection they had papalo, epazote, and fresh banana leaves.

In Logan Square - OK just off Logan Boulevard @ Elston, across from "The Tarjjaay",
Strack and VanTil has your Rapini/Broccoli Rabe.
If for some odd reason they do not-
just ask for Super Store Manager "Mike G"-
and request when he will be gettin' more in.

Certainly biking distance from Logan Square, albeit it berift of CTA access.

We sometimes find it at Stanleys. Lincolnwoos Produce almost always has it.

I found it at Marketplace on Oakton & Skokie Blvd., very close to the Skokie Swift.
