I just finished the nutballs. I had chilled the dough overnight and baked on non stick cookie sheets. They did not spread. I did not chill or even wash the sheets between bakings but did let them cool. I would not add or change a recipe but I would chill the dough. I don't really understand...my mom has complained of the same thing but it never happened to me. I have been baking cookies for over thirty years.
