I'm in NW Oak Park and frequently drive through Elmwood Park and see loads of Polish markets nearby. We were planning to do hamburgers and polish for July 4th. I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a polish market/deli nearby where I could pick up some sausage. Thanks so much!

Gene's sausage shop at 5330 W. Belmont. It's a bit farther than Emwood Park but worth the trip if you're looking for good polish sausage. They have a good selection of other sausages and meat also.

Hey, you don't need to stretch so far from NW Oak Park to find very good Polish food, including Polish sausage. I really feel Kolatek's is as good as any market it's size (Polish). The breads, deli & prepared foods are all good. If you search, you'll find many other mentions of this place by me.
