Stopped by this stand at the Daley Center farmer's market. I'd bought some tomatoes and bread for lunch, and assumed I'd have to go to a store for some mayo. But, in addition pickles, this guy sells three types of mayo. I purchased a jar of horseradish mustard mayo. It's terrific stuff, just the right background of horseradish and mustard, without making the product sharp.

I had a pleasant chat with the the proprietor. He not only makes the mayo, he makes the mustard and uses horseradish that he grows. He explained how horseradish can be very strong, so he has to test the root to decide if it's usable for this product.

Nice fellow, nice product. I may try some pickles or jam next.

Does the mayo have any sort of sweetener in it?
