Bada Bing Cherries

I just had some frozen yogurt with some Bada Bing cherries made by Tillen Farms.

Very delicious. These are flavored like maraschino cherries but they are made with bing cherries and the syrup or juice is very dark. They also sell several other kinds of cherries including "natural" preservative free maraschino cherries, Pink blush cherries and ranier cherries. These are all sold in jars. I believe I got mine at Ultra foods but have not seen them there in the past few months.

They would be very good in drinks as well as anywhere you would put a sweet maraschino cherry. If anyone knows of stores that carry these please report here. You can buy on the web site but its expensive with shipping and all.

I use those cherries all the time in my manhattans. Last jar I recently purchased was at whole foods (the big one off kingsbury) . I've also acquired them at binny's. They are tasty and a great alternative to the regular ol bright red sundae type.
