Pita Inn Skokie: Market (NOT Restaurant) price range?

Their website is currently down, and though I eat at the restaurant frequently, I haven't actually stepped foot inside the shop section.

So I'd like to know what the latest costs are for a quart of hummus and/or baba ghannoug. Info concerning other offerings is also appreciated.

Hummus: $2.29 (half-pint), $4.59 (pint), $7.79 (quart)
Baba ghannoug: $2.59 (half-pint), $4.89 (pint), $8.09 (quart)

I went yesterday to pick up some stuff and ordered one large hummus for Mr. Pie and one small for me. The small used to come in a small round container which I would guess was 4 ounces. The large was about a pint, if not bigger. Now the large is the size of the small and the small is a little styrofoam thing like you'd get coleslaw in at a burger joint.

I will vouch for Ms. Pie and the escalating prices / smaller container ratio of the Pita Inn spreads, and furthermore it pertaining to the topic at hand, seven years dormant or not. In fact, it really helped me when deciding how to order from the new Vernon Hills store last week. The quart of hummus was (I think) eleven bucks but it came with a dozen pitas, and...man, that's a LOT of hummus. For their quality, well worth it.

It's totally fine -- and in most cases, preferred -- to resurrect an older thread instead of starting a new one. If something's already been discussed here, there's generally no reason to start a new thread. We Moderators appreciate when members take the time to search for an already-existing discussion before just starting a new thread. That way, information is more consolidated and easier to find.
